The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (unesco) will hold a global forum in the city of Paris from the 21st to the 23rd of February.
The purpose of the event is to discuss the regulation of social networks and the combating misinformation and fake news.
UNESCO invited the President Lula, the vice president of Federal Supreme Court (STF), Luís Roberto Barroso, and the digital influencer Felipe Neto to participate in the forum.

The event will discuss a set of draft global guidelines for the regulation of digital platforms. The intent is to improve the reliability of information and protect freedom of expression and human rights.
One of the guidelines related to Brazil that should be mentioned and discussed in the forum will be the attacks that took place in the Planalto Palace and other public spaces Brasilia on the 8th of January of this year.
Minister Luís Roberto Barroso confirmed that he will go to Paris in person. He should comment on the risks caused by the lack of control over the use of social networks regarding attacks on democracy and attempts to coup d'etat.
Due to his agenda, President Lula should not go to the capital of France.
