She is also known as one of the richest women in Qatar and the world and is one of the wives of Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, Emir of Qatar between the years 1995 and 2013. Furthermore, she is the mother of the current Qatari Emir, Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani. She owns a number of properties and businesses in Qatar and abroad.

Origin of Moza bint Nasser al-Missned
Moza bint Nasser al-Missned was born on August 8, 1959, in Al Khor, a city located in Qatar. She is the daughter of Nasser good Abdullah Al-Missned, a man who led a confederation known as Al Muhannada. The role of Moza's father meant that her family needed to flee Qatar, being forced to go into exile in kuwait.

Moza's family returned to Qatar in 1977 when she had your wedding arranged with Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, who at the time was the heir to the Qatari throne. She was Hamad's second wife, and he currently has three wives.
In all, Moza and Hamad had seven children together:

Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani;

One of the most significant crafts carried out by Moza was his work at UN. She was vice-president of a council focused on education, in addition to being a UN envoy to monitor advances in the field of education in different countries. Both positions were occupied by Moza from 2002 and 2003, respectively.
In 2003, Moza also developed actions together àunesco to ensure improvements in the Iraqi education system. She divided her time to ensure the development of actions to improve the educational system in her own country, Qatar. Moza also promoted actions to bring improvements to the Qatari health system.
The actions developed by Moza in Qatar have contributed to improving the university system in the country, in addition to contributed directly to a significant increase in the number of women who had access to education higher. Another important work developed by Moza was the creation of the institution Education Above All, which works in partnership with UNESCO.
Ahead of her work in defense of education, Moza has already been to Brazil visiting some school units. She also plays a relevant role in Qatari politics, contributing directly to the formulation of public policies in your country.

Moza is also known for being one of the richest women in the world, having investments in banks and real estate, in addition to owning Harrods, an important English department store, Valentino and Balmain, two luxury clothing brands.
