Electric shock for life

As we know, electric shocks can be very dangerous for humans and can lead to death. When electrical current passes through the body, it can cause a variety of damage, from just tingling to burns or cardiac arrest. However, electric shock can be used for the benefit of life, as long as it is used only to stimulate the resumption of heartbeat when there is a cardiac arrest.
As we know, when electrical current travels through a person's body, it causes muscle contractions, including in the heart, which is also a muscle. In situations where the heart stops beating, during surgery, for example, doctors can give the patient an electric shock causing his heart to contract and resume beating.
These devices are known as defibrillators. They are devices that deliver a small electrical shock to the patient's heart with the intention of making it start beating again.
Another way to use electric current in favor of life is in pacemaker-type devices that have the function of helping the heart to function properly.
