Why is a steam iron better?

Ironing clothes is by far one of the most doomed household chores. That's because it's not at all easy to make a fabric, after being washed, return to its original shape.

You know that shirt you bought last weekend? In the first wash it already loses that "starch" appearance. What to do then? Don't worry, that's what technology is for, after all, we're already in the 21st century!

Among the most modern and accessible techniques for ironing clothes is the steam iron, an updated version of the ancient artifacts previously used for this task. The steam iron differential is in the jet.

And why the efficiency of this iron?

When ironing a shirt, the intention is to knead all of its fibers until they acquire the desired shape and, for this, the heat from thermal energy is a great aid.
And isn't the heat enough? What is steam for? Well then, wet steam helps to soften the fibers, making the pieces easier to iron.

The proof of this is that it is much easier to iron a wet garment, fresh from the centrifuge, than one that has been dried in the sun.

Now imagine if even today it was necessary to use those heavy irons from “grandma's times”, like the one in the photo? No steam, huh?

And long live the modernity!
