Subjunctive Present: conjugations and examples

O subjunctive present it is a tense used to indicate a present or future action. It is also used to express wishes.

Examples:

I expect that I come back before dawn.
I believe let them eat everything.
Will take let him leave before time.

Note that all times of the subjunctive mode they indicate assumptions, hypotheses and the possibility of something happening.

In addition, the present tense is also conjugated in the indicative mode.

Conjugation

To the regular verbs, that is, those that follow a pattern in the conjugations, the present subjunctive has the following endings:

Indicative and Subjunctive Present

Unlike the subjunctive mode, the present tense is used to indicate an action that takes place at the moment of speaking. It also indicates a habitual action, a truth or suggests some characteristics of the subject.

The present subjunctive is used to speak of uncertain or hypothetical actions. It is also used to indicate an event that may occur in the present.

Examples:

Present tense: Sonia speech with your boss.
Subjunctive Present: I expect let her speak with your boss.
