Understanding the linguistic characteristics is a major factor to understand the difference between the technical writing and theliterary writing. Thus, let us take as an example two routine situations, taking into account what is expected from the interlocutor:
When we request a declaration, whether it is intended for any purpose, we expect it to contain clarity and objectivity, in the sense that the objectives provided through communication are consolidated. Now, when we read a poem, for example, certainly the interpretation we will make of it may not be the same as someone else's. This fact is due to the presence of a subjective language, which allows multiple interpretations. In this way, the interlocutor is free to make the interpretation he/she wishes, as opposed to the first modality, whose main characteristic is manifested by the presence of only one interpretation, given the objective character given by the Communication.
Such postulates, therefore, lead us to a better understanding of the points that demarcate the types in vogue, which is why we will establish familiarity with some traits, as they are expressed in the table. bellow:
