Elements that make up a good text

As you know, every text must contain all the necessary elements so that there is full communication between the sender (the person who writes) and the receiver (reader).

For this to occur, we need to be aware of to the construction of paragraphs, for it is through them that we organize our ideas; as to the spelling correct words, especially now that there has been a change in the spelling rules, use the dictionary in case of doubts, among other attitudes.

Among these elements, there are two of fundamental importance, which we must never forget:

One is responsible for the unnecessary repetition of certain words or expressions, preventing the text from presenting meaningless and content. In order to better understand the subject, we will observe the following paragraph:

“One of Paulo's diversions was playing ball with his friends. Every afternoon he you called them to meet in a field that existed in front of their house, andthere, each one he wanted to show more and more his competence as junior scorers”. (...)

We can see that the terms that are highlighted had the function of replacing the words: Paulo, friends, field.

These terms are called cohesive elements, or simply "cohesion", as they ensured that the paragraph was not overloaded with repetitive ideas.

The other is called "coherence", that is, every text needs to start talking about a certain subject and end too, always trying to keep the same idea.

If this does not happen, it is likely that there is not a full understanding on the part of the reader. So stay tuned for this case!
