How to produce a summary?

A question that always arises when producing a text summary is regarding the correct use of the language used.
Should we just report the main ideas in the same words as the text? Or should we use our own?
First, we need to understand what a summary really is:

Summarizing a text means pointing out the main ideas, using other words, but with the same meaning, making it shorter.
Otherwise it will just be a collage of snippets, and this is considered incorrect.
For the summary to be constructed correctly, some tips will help you a lot. That's what we'll see next:
* Firstly, it is necessary to carefully read the text so that we can understand the message, the subject it conveys to us.
* Then, let's repeat this task, because only in a detailed way will we be able to understand the meaning of the words. And if necessary, we should look for help in the dictionary.
* The third step is the time to start producing the abstract, removing the central ideas and distributing them through the paragraphs, where the end of the text should close all your raised ideas previously.

And it's always interesting to say:

Everything we are going to write must be clear, so that the reader understands perfectly what we mean.
Just remembering also that the summary helps us a lot when we study for the evaluations, because when we produce it, we are understanding about the content.
