Using balloons to make sense
The delineated part and the shape of the balloons have rules to represent the desired expression at the moment of the characters' communication. See some of them below.
Balloons with solid lines represent a common speech. |
Balloons with curved lines express thoughts or dreams. |
Balloons with dotted curves express whisper. |
Balloons with a continuous line and a ray-shaped tip indicate an electronic message (speech). |
Balloons with sharp edges express screams. |
Multi-tipped balloons indicate the simultaneous speech of two or more characters. |
