In the family, the ones who exercise authority are our parents. Just as our parents are examples of authority in our lives, in other groups of people the authorities are also present. At school the authority is the principal; in churches the authorities are the Popes (Catholic), the Pastors (Evangelical); in the army, the general; among several others.
There are still authorities that are related to the organization of the places in which we live. The mayor is the highest authority in a city. He is responsible for the functioning of all areas of a city.
When the mayor is not in town, the deputy mayor is the deputy mayor who replaces him in charge of these services.
The secretaries and councilors are also municipal authorities.Councilors are responsible for creating the laws that stipulate the rights and duties of citizens, that is why it is important to participate in the elections by choosing a candidate who defends better conditions for society.
In a municipality there are other authorities. The judge of law is the highest authority within justice. It judges people's attitudes and determines the fulfillment or not of punishments that are in the laws. The prosecutor or public prosecutor is also a municipal authority. He requires people to comply with the law, ensuring that they are respected and followed.
There are the military authorities that take care of our security, such as the military police and the fire department. The delegate is a judicial authority, but he also takes care of the order of the municipality and also the safety of the people. It is important that every citizen collaborates with public services to keep cities in perfect organization and functioning.
