Conjunctions. Types of conjunctions

So that we can understand about this subject, it is necessary to analyze the prayers exposed:
I bought and delivered the birthday present.
Marcela likes going to the movies, but she doesn't like going to the farm.

According to our perception, there is the presence of elements linking the words in those prayers. Have you found out what they are?
between verbs "bought and delivered" there is the vowel "and", and after the referring comma to the second prayer, there is the word "but".
Do they have the same meaning?

At first, the meaning is join one action to another, i.e, buy and deliver.
In the second, the meaning expresses something contrary, inverse, that is, revealing what Marcela really likes and mentioning what she doesn't like.
So, we conceptualize conjunctions as words connecting terms between two or more clauses.
Representing the framework of conjunctions are:
and – not – yet – but – because – therefore – because – but – for this – however.
Some examples will help us to understand better, note:

I love to see new places, however, it's been a while since I travel.
the conjunction "However" indicates an opposite direction.
I like to get good results in evaluations, so I study a lot.
the conjunction "that is why" reveals an explanation of the reason for the study.
