Meaning of Daydream (What it is, Concept and Definition)

daydream is a human being's state of wandering, when you get carried away by the imagination, images, dreams or deep thoughts; ignoring contact with reality or the environment that surrounds you.

Daydreaming is considered a state of fantasy or even "madness", when the real world is confused with the imagination or deep desires of individuals. Daydreams are present in unfounded beliefs or ideals; utopias or illusory estimates.

People usually have daydreams when they are in a state of delirium or loss of reason, either for psychological or pathological reasons, such as high fevers, for example.

Some psychologists believe that daydreams are manifestations of the human subconscious, just as dreams are. In other words, daydreams would be the same as "daydreaming".

Individuals in a state of reverie often talk about decontextualized subjects, which only make sense to themselves; unexpected conversations or actions that do not have a timeline or rationale.
