Summary and Review
A review is a text where there is a critical opinion of the person who writes in relation to the book or document on which the review was written. Although it conveys the writer's opinion, using the first person in a review is not recommended. It is important to note that in the case of the descriptive review, the author's opinion may not be present.
On the other hand, the summary does not contain the opinion (unless it is a critical summary), and it is just a summary of the main ideas of the book or document.
How to make a summary
The first step in making a summary is to careful reading of the text that will be summarized. Then, in the different paragraphs, the key concepts, that is, the most important ideas. Then the abstract, where the paragraphs are concisely described, never forgetting to address the most important concepts. As a conclusion, a careful reading of the abstract should be made, to prove that the main ideas of the original text are included in the summary.
