Anxiety is a feminine noun in Portuguese and is used to designate periods of anxiety, a physical and psychological discomfort, marked by excessive agony and distress in an individual.
Anxiety can be defined as a psychopathology, in some cases, presenting an emotional condition of suffering in a person, through the expectation of an unexpected and dangerous event, which the individual finds himself/herself helpless. A person who suffers from anxiety or anxiety is called an anxious person.
