Oppression is the act of oppressing, suffocating, be it a person, an attitude, a community. Oppression can also be the use of violence to demonstrate authority, acts of tyranny, and is a term often associated with countries, governments, society, and so on.
Oppression is the feeling of being suffocated, having difficulty breathing, also figuratively. Oppression makes people feel repressed, humiliated, where they can't do what they need or want to, because they are being oppressed, by acquaintances, by the government, by protesters.
social oppression
Social oppression is when a person is the target of cruelty and humiliation by a society or a certain group. An example of social oppression is racism and any kind of prejudice based on skin color, religion, sex, and so on.
Social oppression makes citizens feel “crushed”, suffocated, unable to be themselves, and often find themselves forced to act in a way that is not normal for them. Several movements eventually emerged to study oppression, such as liberation theology.
Spiritual/Evil Oppression
Spiritual oppression, also called evil, is when the devil acts on people's bodies, causing them to be completely dominated by it. The devil acts as a spiritual oppression, where the person is suffering, creates emotional disturbances that he never had or unknown behaviors.
Spiritual oppression occurs when an individual starts to get a persecution mania, which is being watched all the time, they feel like someone is squeezing their chest and other sensations.
