Check out the 10 professions that had the greatest salary gain in the pandemic

The National Bank of Employment carried out a survey that points out wage gain of 10 professions during the pandemic of Covid-19. Despite the economic crisis and unemployment in several sectors, there were careers that stood out.

As the pandemic period presented special needs, the bank's CEO, Marcelo de Abreu e Silva, pointed out that the salary increase is a consequence of high demand.

“It is evident that more and more health professionals are needed, for example, at the service posts in the fight against Covid-19. In addition, with social isolation, companies had to migrate their services to customer service online, which justifies an increase in vacancies in these sectors and an increase in salaries for these professionals", said.

As explained by the CEO, the technology and healthcare sectors had increased demand. The professions benefiting from these sectors with the respective percentages of salary increase are:

  • Biochemist Technician: 25.23%;
  • IT Manager: 15%;
  • Doctor: 14.91%;
