The Federal Institute of Mato Grosso do Sul (IFMS) published notice No. 032/2019. He opensselective process for admission to distance technical courses at the institution.
560 places are offered for technical courses in: Administration, Buildings and Maintenance and Support in Computer Science. To apply for a place, the only requirement is to have completed high school.
Half of the vacancies offered are reserved for candidates who have completed high school in the public network. Of this total, there are quotas for those who prove a per capita family income equal to or less than one and a half minimum wage. There are also places reserved for those who declare themselves black, brown or indigenous and for people with disabilities.
Entries are free and can be made between April 29th and May 21st, through the Candidate's Page. Upon registration, the candidate must inform the CPF number in his/her name.

The selection will be made through an electronic draw, under the responsibility of the Reference Center for Educational Technologies and Distance Education (Cread).
The final result and the first call will be announced on June 14th. Classes are scheduled to start this semester. The complete selection schedule is available in Annex I of the notice.

The courses are free and last a year and a half (Maintenance and Support in IT) and two years (Administration and Buildings).
The activities are guided by tutors in a virtual teaching and learning environment. In addition, the groups also participate in weekly face-to-face meetings. For more information, Click here.
