The environment has increasingly received society's attention. Before, it was thought that the more exploitation in ecosystems, the greater the wealth obtained. Today, that thinking is a little different.

Ecosystems are increasingly preserved as it is known that the benefits are greater than full exploitation. But there is still a long way to go for this to happen properly. The world's forests have suffered greatly from deforestation and resource extraction. We need to know our forests so that we can take care of them and preserve them for a long time.

DEVELOPMENT:

In this class, you should start by asking students what a forest is. Also ask if they have seen or been through one. Say that there are several types of forest, but here in Brazil most forests are the same as the images you will show.

Now turn on the data show and start showing students various forest-related images.

For each image you show, ask the following questions:

  1. Do you know what this is?
  2. Have you seen this in person?
  3. Do you have a story related to this?

Use the following images as an example:
