Ayumi is also the first name of Japanese singer and actress Ayumi Hamasaki. She is one of the most popular Japanese singers in Japan. Ayumi was born in 1978 and 20 years later she had her biggest success as a singer, with the single "poker face". In 1999, the singer received the "Japan Gold Disc Award Golden" in the "Breakthrough Artist of the Year" category.
