After lunch there is always that laziness and the desire to take a nap, to lean against something to sleep. But that is not always possible. Most people have a very busy lunch period. It is during this period that you have lunch, study and review content for a test at night, in addition to having to solve a problem at the bank or pay something that is scheduled. This is quite different in some countries like Italy, for example, where it is common for everyone to stop for a siesta.
But after all, is sleeping after lunch good or bad?
This will depend from person to person, on the biological rhythm of each one. Not everyone can or likes to take a nap, but nap after lunch reduces stress, stimulates concentration and consequently, learning and memorization, bringing benefits such as physical and mental disposition. It also prevents heart problems and helps you lose weight. for people who have stomach problems or insomnia is not recommended as they can impair digestion or hamper night sleep.
Do not stop now... There's more after the advertising ;)
There are people who need this period of rest, but it is good to know that sleep should not exceed 1 hour, and should respect each person's biological schedule.
