Four foods and a healthy mouth

Can you imagine: protect your teeth by feeding? But isn't it just the opposite? Do the foods we eat harm our smile? None of this, a healthy diet accompanied by correct hygiene is the double action that can benefit oral health.
Here are four feeding tips and their benefits.
ores: strong teeth
Want to give your teeth a mineral bath? Just have a glass of milk! A diet rich in minerals ensures strong teeth.
The weakening of the bones in general leads to periodontal diseases, which attack the supporting tooth structure. Milk and its derivatives are the main sources of minerals such as calcium, these foods participate in the reconstruction of dental enamel (a layer that coats the teeth).
Antioxidants: pH control
You know that soda that doesn't leave your diet, in addition to getting fat, it also causes devastation of your smile, the acidity present in this drink is responsible for the so-called dental corrosion (oxidation).
But there is a solution to this problem, the consumption of teas produces a remineralizing effect. The benefits of this infusion are the sensation of smoother teeth (less rough), decreased porosity (responsible for a greater accumulation of dirt) and also fights bacteria causing cavities.

Green tea is the most suitable antioxidant in combating tooth erosion.
Fibers: easy cleaning
Fiber-rich food begins to benefit from the moment it enters the mouth and travels to the intestine. The effort that our dental arches make to chew fibrous food guarantees the cleaning of the oral cavity. All because in these cases the amount of saliva increases to assist in grinding and with this impurities are dragged more easily.
Foods like apples and cereal bars are good suggestions when it comes to a healthy mouth and good bowel function.
Vitamin C: healthy gums
The gums could not be left out, considering that they are also responsible for composing a beautiful smile. Vitamin C in this case is beneficial, as it participates in the formation of collagen (present in the gums) and also helps in healing, if you suffer cuts from flossing.
Scurvy disease (bleeding gums) arises from vitamin C deficiency. Rich sources of this vitamin: acerola, orange, guava, lemon, etc.
But remember, eating these foods does not dispense with cleaning, brushing and flossing are essential for a beautiful smile.
