Who can participate in Encceja 2020?
Encceja 2020 is divided into primary and secondary education. Each certification level has a minimum age for the candidate to participate. Check out:
- Elementary School: people aged 15 or over at the time of the exam (August 29, 2021)
- High school: people aged 18 or over on the day of the exam (August 29, 2021)
How to register for Encceja 2020?
Applications for Encceja 2020 were received from 11th to 22nd January 2021. Registration is free and done exclusively through the internet, through the website enccejanacional.inep.gov.br/encceja/.
It is necessary to inform CPF and identity document to enroll in Encceja 2020. It is important to always fill in updated data (phone, email) so that Inep can contact you if necessary.
People who enrolled in Encceja 2019 and did not participate in the exams will have to justify their absence if they want to participate in the exam again. At justifications were received from December 14 to 20, 2020. If the reason is not accepted by Inep, the candidate will have to pay a ticket of R$ 40 to take the test in April 2021.
How and when will Encceja 2020 be?
O Encceja 2020 will be held on August 29, 2021, from 9 am to 1 pm and from 3:30 pm to 8:30 pm. The tests will consist of objective questions about different areas of knowledge (or disciplines) and an essay.

When is the result of Encceja 2020 coming out?
The date of publication of the result of Encceja 2020 has not yet been informed by the National Institute of Educational Studies and Research Anísio Teixeira (Inep). It is usually released about 100 days after the exams.
How much do I need to take to pass the Encceja 2020?
The candidate must obtain at least 100 points in the objective tests and a minimum average of 5 points in the essay to pass the Encceja 2020. The essay's score ranges from 0 to 10, while the exam has the grade calculated by Item Response Theory (TRI).
The candidate who does not pass all the tests, but achieves the required score in one or more areas may request the statement of proficiency, a document that removes the need to take the course again in Encceja 2021.
How to get the Encceja 2020 diploma?
The Encceja 2020 certificate (or declaration of proficiency) must be requested at the Departments of Education and federal institutes associated with Inep. The candidate will have to go to the place and inform the exam registration number and present the personal documents.
Other modalities of Encceja
In addition to the traditional Encceja (National), Inep also carries out the Enceja Exterior, for Brazilians who live in other countries, and the Encceja for people deprived of liberty or in socio-educational measures (PPL) - domestic and foreign versions.
Such Encceja modalities will have their notices published by Inep later and will have different application schedules.
