If we stop to notice the sounds that are around us, we will conclude that music is an integral part of our life, a universal communication language capable of changing the mood, bringing the spirit back to the most sublime.
Music has always existed as a cultural production, since human beings began to organize themselves into primitive tribes across Africa, as an integral part of people's daily lives.
The 1st of October is the International Day of Music, instituted in 1975 by the International Music Council, a non-governmental organization founded with the support of UNESCO, with the objective of promoting values of peace and friendship through music, taking it to all sectors of society.
Currently, after decades past, the date continues to be celebrated all over the planet with several initiatives that aim to publicize and honor this art that penetrates the deepest part of the human essence.
