So that there are no major concerns, see what hasn't changed about the caret:
1. The oxytone words ending with stressed vowels "e" and "o" closed, followed or not by "s" continue being accented: give, des (from the verb give), read, read (from the verb to read), Portuguese, you(s), put (from the verb put), grandmother.
2. The oxytone verb forms combined with the clitic pronouns (la (s), lo (s)) end in the closed stressed vowels (e, o) and continue to receive accents graphic, after the loss of the final consonants -r, -s or -z: detain it (from the verb detain), make it (from the verb do), see it (from the verb see), did it (from the verb to do).
3. continue no accent of distinction the words of the same spelling: colhandr (ê), verb and harvestandr (é), substantive; çOr (ô), noun and cOr (ó) of the phrase “by heart”: I know it by heart!
In addition to these, there are also: hit (ê), noun and hit (é), inflection of the verb “to hit”; agreement (ô), noun and agreement (ó), inflection of the verb “to wake up”; pilot (ô), noun and pilot (ó), inflection of the verb to pilot and so on.
Important: the verb form per remains sharp to distinguish from the preposition per. So also with he can (3rd person singular of the past perfect tense) to differentiate from he can (present tense).
4. In the case of verbs have and come, the accent does not change in the plural: they have, they come. In the case of its derivatives, the same happens, only in this case the acute accent prevails in words with more than one syllable in the singular: she detains, he detains, she entertains, he detains.
