Differences between Portuguese and Brazilian terms

We know that the Portuguese language is not only diffused in Portugal and Brazil, as there are still countries on the continent Africans who are also considered Lusophones, such as Angola, East Timor, São Tomé and Príncipe, Mozambique and Guinea Bissau.

Through such considerations, the article in question is intended to highlight the differences manifested between Portuguese in Brazil and in Portugal. Although belonging to the same language, these differences are very accentuated.

Well, we are aware of the latest orthographic agreement, whose objective is to promote the unification of the language, similarly to the objective by which the other existing ones were guided - inefficient, by signal. With the latter, expectations corroborate the same result, given that 17 thousand signatures have already demonstrated against the implementation, under the allegation that the “Brazilianization” of writing will occur, running the risk of extinguishing the European, African and Brazilian.

Thus, returning to the issue of differences, it should be mentioned that these are not only manifested in spelling, but also in relation to the meaning of a large part of terms. So, let's check:
