Human values are the principles that guide people's actions and behavior. These values are culturally constructed. They serve as a basis for human development through interpersonal relationships, with nature and with the world.
Here is a list of the main examples of human values:
- Altruism - an attitude aimed at the interest and well-being of others, opposed to selfishness.
- Friendship - feeling of closeness and fellowship between people, relationship between friends.
- Love - sublime feeling of admiration and extreme affection in a personal relationship.
- attendance - constant and secure presence at appointments.
- Kindness - quality of the person who acts based on the good of others.
- Compassion - ability to feel pity and solidarity with the adversities experienced by another person.
- Condescension - attitude of giving in to another person's will.
- Confidence - feeling of security and strong belief in something.
- Courage - overcoming fears, fears and dangers; bravery.
- cordiality - characteristic of sympathy and care in relationships between people.
- Curiosity - Intense desire to seek information and knowledge.
- subject - responsibility, commitment and compliance with norms and rules.
- Empathy - feeling generated by the ability to feel like another person, to put oneself in the other's condition.
- Spontaneity - autonomy, natural action without the need for stimuli or pressure.
- Fraternity - feeling of being among brothers, companionship.
- Honesty - decency, clarity and rectitude of actions.
- Honor - pride, commitment, dignity and moral rectitude.
- Justice - quality of what corresponds with what is right, right.
- Loyalty - fidelity, unshakable commitment to others.
- Freedom - ability to choose for yourself, self-determination.
- Patience - calm, tranquility and virtue of waiting for the natural time of events.
- Peace - absence of conflicts and problems, non-violence.
- Perseverance - moral resistance, ability to persist in view of a goal.
- Punctuality - meeting schedules and goals.
- Proactivity - ability to act autonomously and in advance of problems.
- Prudence - virtue of caution, precaution and reflection.
- Resilience - resistance, flexibility, adaptability and firmness in the face of adverse situations.
- Respect - attitude of commitment to others, acceptance of society's values and principles.
- Responsibility - feeling of duty and commitment to one's actions.
- Sincerity - commitment to truth and openness.
- Solidarity - feeling of collaboration and compassion for the suffering of others.
- Tolerance - ability to support and respect contrary or divergent attitudes and positions.
