Water cycle. water cycle process

Water is a common good for all people, in addition to being indispensable to all forms of life that are dispersed throughout the extension of the earth's crust. The waters contained in the planet constitute the hydrosphere and this corresponds to the liquid part that is found in different parts, such as oceans, seas, rivers, lakes, glaciers, in addition to the atmosphere.

We can find water in three physical states: liquid, gas and solid. The set of waters contained in the planet develops an interdependence. This occurs through the processes of evaporation, precipitation, infiltration and runoff, which are configured as a dynamic hydrological. In other words, water that is now in a water table may soon be in the atmosphere or even in a glacier.

The process that gives rise to the water cycle takes place in all physical states. To conceive this phenomenon it is necessary that another element provokes, in this case, it is motivated by the energy of the solar irradiation.

Given all the precision of this dynamic process, it is evident that if there is a dismemberment or interruption, a incalculable change will take place, compromising the configuration of landscapes and putting different types of life in the planet. A clear example of imbalance linked to the natural water cycle is the phenomenon of global warming, which causes the melting of the polar ice caps and, consequently, it causes the rise of ocean levels that can submerge islands and coastal areas in many countries, taking people and animals away from them. areas.
