The period composed of subordination tends to be established through a central clause. Thus, a clause (the subordinate one) is conditioned, dependent on another (the main one). This is the established general rule, however, the latter may not appear! So, how is it?
This is the case with: Maxi, the brush that cleans everything!
We can find subordinate clauses adjectives and nouns that refer not to a clause but to an adjective or noun! Thus, the reference will be maintained through a noun phrase and not a main clause, as in the example above!
Note that we have a name (Maxi) and a bet, that is, the explanatory term of this name (the brush that cleans everything)! The core of this bet is a noun: brush, which is specified through a unique quality: cleansing (“that cleans everything”). If we talk about quality, we talk about an adjective. For this reason, it is an adjectival subordinate clause whose main element is a noun (brush) and not a clause.

Note: the relative pronoun “that” in the first sentence takes up its antecedent “brush” and makes the relationship between this and the term that qualifies it: clean.
In the second sentence, with the removal of the relative pronoun “that”, the adjective “limping” replaces “that cleans”. It becomes clearer, then, to understand why this is an adjectival subordinate clause.
Notice the difference in: Maxi, the brush that cleans everything, is what you need for a healthy mouth!
Here, we have a prayer: Maxi is what it takes for you to have a healthy mouth. The subject is represented by the noun Maxi and the term between commas is the apposition. If we remove this one, the prayer will not lose its meaning.
