Contest will choose the 2016 National Science and Technology Week logo

Elementary and high school students from public or private schools throughout Brazil can apply until April 15th for the contest which will select the logo of the National Week of Science and Technology 2016, promoted by the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation.

The logo theme should be the same as the event: “Science feeding Brazil”. Each participant may submit only one proposal, in freehand drawing format or produced in Corel Draw. The image will be used in all promotional items, such as folders, posters, billboards and caps. More details at Notice.

On April 30, the six most creative design proposals will be announced. They will be submitted to popular vote between the 2nd and 8th of May, on the website of the National Week of Science and Technology 2016. The winner will win a notebook.

The event

The National Week of Science and Technology 2016 takes place every October, since 2004, with the aim of encouraging the population to discuss and analyze the theme and carry out scientific dissemination in accessible language that stimulate curiosity and social implications of science and technology. This year, the event will be from the 17th to the 23rd of October.
