MEC opens enrollment for the English without Borders program

O English Without Borders Program (IsF) of the Ministry of Education (MEC) has open enrollment for the July Edition of the Program. In this phase, 6,825 places are offered, distributed in 43 institutions registered as Núcleo de Línguas.

Undergraduate, masters or doctoral students from accredited federal universities who have completed up to 90% of the total credits for the course can apply for the vacancies. You must also be an active participant in the My English Online course, with enrollment validated within 48 hours prior to accreditation at IsF.

The face-to-face workload of the course is four weekly classes, which can be distributed in two or more meetings, at times defined by the accredited university. The duration of the course can vary between 30 and 120 days.

Registrations

Interested parties who meet the requirements can apply through the Student Portal, on the program's website. The registration system will be available between the 9th of June and the 2nd of July.

Priority will be given to enrollment of undergraduate students in courses in the program's areas Science without borders, who have taken the National High School Examination (Enem) from 2010 onwards and achieved an equal average or higher than 600 points or even higher academic performance, according to the parameters of the University.

The program

Created in 2012, the IsF aims to meet the demands generated by the Science without Borders Program, which grants scholarships to foreign universities. The English course offered consists of three main actions: virtual support, application of proficiency exams and courses attended at accredited universities.
