The State Secretariat of Education of Maranhão (Seduc MA) published a notice to fill in the 984 vacancies in the role of teacher. The professionals will work in indigenous schools located in the municipalities of Buriticupu, Bom Jesus das Selvas, Arame, Barra do Corda, Fernando Falcão, Grajau, Itaipava do Grajaú, Jenipapo dos Vieiras, Amarante, Lajeado Novo, Montes Altos, Bom Jardim, Araguanã, Guilherme Center, Maranhão Novo Center, Nova Olinda, Santa Luzia do Paruá and Zé Dock. The salary offered is R$ 1,443.12.
The vacancies will be divided as follows: multipurpose teacher (481 vacancies) and indigenous language teacher (172). In the latter, indigenous teaching, secondary education (regular or EJA) or elementary education (regular or EJA) and proficiency in the mother tongue are required.

Enrollment runs from the 16th to the 22nd of February 2021 and must be made at the site. It is mandatory to deliver the registration form and all required documentation in an envelope at the Regional Education Unit/URE of the municipality where the candidate has registered, from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm and from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
The selection will be carried out through curriculum evaluation, with the result published on March 16 on the Seduc MA website.
