Petrobras launches free magazine for teachers and students

Petrobras, in partnership with publisher Mol, launched the Petrobras Get to Know, a magazine about technology, science, research, energy and innovation aimed at teachers and students from the 6th to 9th grades of elementary and secondary education. The magazine's intention is to stimulate this audience's interest in topics related to the energy and technology industry in general, in a playful and creative way.

For now, the magazine has a limited edition print version of 10,000 copies that are distributed free of charge to 20 schools that are part of a network of subscribers throughout Brazil. The number of copies could increase in the coming months if more schools show interest in the publication.

Online Version

Teachers and students whose schools do not receive the printed version can access the online version of the magazine at the electronic address www.petrobras.com.br/revistaconhecer. The first edition is now available and has as its theme the "movement" and speaks of the 60 geniuses who changed the course of history, faster animals, of migrations around the world, of the energy of the winds, of the Amazon River and phenomena such as the meeting of the waters and the pororoca, among others matters.

Do not stop now... There's more after the advertising ;)

Before the first edition, a pilot version, whose theme was “energy”. This version is also available on the internet. The next edition will also have a version for tablets. The Petrobras Knowledge magazine will have three editions per year.
