Poetry-praxis. Characteristics of poetry-praxis

In opposition to the concrete ideology, another movement emerged, manifested by the so-called poetry-praxis. It, like social poetry, is subversive to the formalism worshiped by Concretism, given that in it the word-object represents the watchword.

Thus, we affirm that in poetry-praxis there is an opening for multiple interpretations, that is, the subjectivity manifested by the discourse allows the reader to become familiar with the language manifested under multiple angles. Thus, he can decipher the ideology present in the intention of each one of those who were part of such literary manifestation.

From this perspective, Mário Chamie and Cassiano Ricardo revealed their artistic skills starting from the beginning that they, instead of presenting themselves as an object of closed nature, were evidenced as something transformable. So, in order to verify these aspects, let us analyze one of Cassiano Ricardo's creations, entitled:
The names given to the discovered land
Because it is an island, they named it

of island of Vera-Cruz.
island full of grace
island full of birds
Island full of light.

green island where there was
brunette and naked women
Anhangás dreaming of moon stories
and barbaric chants of shamans in poraces stamping their feet.

Do not stop now... There's more after the advertising ;)

Then they changed the name
to the land of Santa Cruz.
land full of grace
land full of birds
Earth full of light.

The great sunflower land where there were warriors in loincloths and
red haired jaguars lying in the shade of the trees
sun mottles

But as there was plenty,
certain blood-colored, ember-colored wood
and like wild morning fire
was a roar in the night coal of the landscape,
and like the Earth was of red trees
and if he had been kind enough,
they named it Brazil.

Brazil full of grace
Brazil full of birds
Brazil full of light.

It is a kind of denunciation of the traces demarcated by Portuguese colonization, so present in Brazilian history. Imbued with the purpose of exploring the beauties that exist here, the colonizer saw nothing but interest and greed, aspects that were manifested by the lyrical self.
