INSS ends payments for 2023: December calendar here

Good news for workers: by National Social Security Institute(INSS) is about to start another round of benefit payments, covering retirements, pensions, aid and others, for the month of December. This latest distribution, which covers approximately 39 million beneficiaries, will begin on the 25th.

Deposits will follow the usual pattern, considering the final digit of the beneficiaries' Social Identification Number (NIS), divided into two groups according to the value of the benefit. One group receives a monthly minimum wage, currently set at R$1,320, while the other is made up of those who earn above this amount.

To check the deposit date, simply disregard the check digit after the benefit card number. For example, a number like “123.456.789-0” would indicate deposit for ending 9.

The INSS administers a variety of benefits, including various types of retirement, pension death, sickness benefit, imprisonment benefit, maternity pay, Continuous Payment Benefit (BPC) and others.
