So far, updating passwords for Whatsapp is only released on a restricted basis, with only a few users having access to the new feature.
However, Meta guarantees that in the coming months all messenger users will have access to the new security layer.
To find out if you can now use the new feature, do the following:
Select the conversation you want to block, press and pull it to the left. When the options appear, click on “More”;
Finally, just click on “Block conversation” and choose another password, other than the one used on your cell phone.
With this feature, users can literally create parallel inboxes where they keep the most confidential conversations private.
Keep your WhatsApp always updated to take advantage of this and the many other updates that the messenger receives periodically.
