If you've been thinking about starting a new career, it's certainly worth checking out the survey results. After all, some professions have proven to be quite dishonest.

1. Focus on political representation

It is no surprise that political representatives are in the spotlight when it comes to ethic and honesty.

According to the study, approximately 64% of respondents consider members of Congress to be unethical and dishonest, reflecting a general distrust in the political class.

Although politics is not one of the professions, it is known that many “suits” have made a public career a job that lasts decades.

2. Professions that arouse distrust

The results also reveal a constant distrust of lobbyists. They have consistently received low ratings for honesty since being included in the survey in 2007.

Furthermore, only 7% of the population attributes high or very high honesty to vehicle salespeople. The data ends up pointing to the need for greater transparency in the automobile industry and for professions involving sales.

3. Professions linked to marketing and advertising

Advertising and marketing professionals face challenges, with significant fluctuations in their honesty assessments. At the moment, only 11% of respondents consider them to be highly honest, highlighting the need for efforts to gain public trust.

4. Lawyers and brokers are on the list in a different way

On the other hand, some professions appear to be gaining public trust. Lawyers and brokers properties, despite ups and downs over the years, are now considered highly honest by 20% of the population.

This gradual improvement suggests that these professions are working to build a more positive reputation.

The study also highlights contrasting scenarios. While union leaders have seen an increase in the perception of their honesty, with 18% of the population considering it high or very high, business executives have faced a decrease in confidence due to economic events recent.

This revealing overview of public perception regarding professional ethics highlights the continued need for transparency and efforts to build trust in various professional areas. Society continues to demand integrity and honesty, and understanding these perceptions is fundamental to improving relationships between professionals and the general public.
