Such reports encompass a wide range of mysterious events, occurring in the skies, in space, underwater and even on land. Of course, we are curious to discover these secrets.

The recent emphasis on these stories is largely attributed to NASA's release of the new Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP) report. And, it seems, this narrative is far from over.

The UAP story received a truly surprising addition with the news that Mexican lawmakers allegedly had contact with what were described as “alien bodies.”

Such figures bore a resemblance to popular representations of extraterrestrial beings: pale skin, a disproportionately large head in relation to a small body, and hands with three fingers.

Jaime Maussan, a well-known figure in the UFO community, took it upon himself to present the alleged “alien mummies.”

It is important to highlight that Maussan is no stranger when it comes to controversies. Previously, he was accused of fraud related to supposed traces of other extraterrestrial civilizations.

NASA reveals a position

During a press conference, Sam Cabral, a journalist at BBC News Digital, questioned NASA about this revelation coming from Mexico.

The question on everyone's mind was this: had NASA established contact with Mexican authorities to investigate such startling allegations?

David Spergel, the leader of the UAP study team, offered an immediate response to the question raised by Sam Cabral during the press conference.

He underscored the agency's commitment to transparency when it comes to unusual discoveries, referencing the example of distributing lunar rock samples to researchers across the world.

Spergel highlighted the importance of making any enigmatic discoveries available to the global scientific community, and suggested that, If he were the Mexican government, he would recommend making the samples available for evaluation by the scientific community International.

NASA's recent report has revived our ongoing fascination with the unknown, but reminds us that it's not always easy to discern reality from fiction.

When we look at Jaime Maussan's history, patterns of questionable credibility emerge.

NASA still suggests that any evidence is important to show the world, even if it is completely questionable.
