in sentence 6 (The temperature will continue high.), there is only the verb phrase "will continue", that is, there is only one sentence. Verb phrases are equivalent to a verb.
The phrase "The long-awaited series will start tomorrow." it is a simple sentence, because it contains only the verb phrase "it will begin", that is, there is only one clause. Verb phrases are equivalent to a verb.
The phrase "She's not bad, her attitude is bad." it is a compound sentence, because it contains two verbs (the verb "é" appears twice), that is, it contains two clauses.
As for the simple and compound sentence, indicate which alternatives are true and which are false.
