Disgusting! Man finds mouse foot in soup and asks restaurant for compensation

Occasionally it can happen that our order comes out wrong when we are in a restaurant. It is possible that the dish is missing an ingredient or overdue, for example.

The problem is when the “extra” in the meal is something that shouldn't be there at all – like, for example, animal parts.

Worst of all, he only realized that the rodent's member was in the food when he was already eating.

According to the man told in an interview with the Fox television channel, he choked on the mouse foot. “I nearly suffocated,” he said. “When I realized [what it was] my stomach dropped and I threw up in the middle of the restaurant,” he added.

debauchery and police

Thomas further said that restaurant staff made fun of him and the situation. “We don't serve meat in our minestrone”, was what the man heard from an employee at the establishment.

He kept his foot mouseas evidence and called the police immediately. Thus, he filed a complaint against the restaurant and even states in the police record that the animal's member "appeared to be chewed".

Howie also sought medical attention as soon as the police arrived.

What became the mouse's foot in the soup?

Howie didn't let it go. The case happened in March of this year, but only in the last week did he decide to file a lawsuit against the establishment.

He asks for one indemnityof more than US$ 75 thousand — something around R$ 366 thousand. In addition to the mistake, he also cites “anguish and emotional distress”.

According to the man's lawyers, he suffered from insomnia, had difficulty eating, as well as vomiting, diarrhea and some symptoms of depression. It is also reported that he, to this day, has difficulty consuming meat.

The restaurant's defense claims that an inspection was made on site after the incident. Experts found that there is no evidence that rats lived in the place - which has remained closed since March.
