Uber driver surprises with answers
In an interview with the G1 portal, young João Teles, who is 23 years old, described the events that preceded his application for a car.
He reported having had an extremely difficult time, as he had left a party earlier with a friend due to significant discomfort.
However, his attempt to find transport home was marred by successive driver cancellations.
He described the anguish of wanting only to return home, but, having failed repeatedly, each prolonged moment in that place became more unbearable. Such an experience generated a sense of urgency and emotional agony, common in difficult times.
João also reported that, when he got into the car, he found a welcoming environment provided by the driver. He had the opportunity to vent about the difficult period he was going through.
At first, the conductor chose to remain silent, apparently demonstrating an empathetic understanding of the passenger's emotional state.
However, after a while, the driver broke the silence and offered words of encouragement and support to the young man. João expressed his gratitude for the gesture, mentioning that he did not expect such a positive and reassuring reaction.
The attitude of the Uber professional left a lasting impression, demonstrating the positive impact that a compassionate and supportive gesture can have on someone hurt.
