Faith is a word that means "confidence", "belief", "credibility". faith is a feeling of total belief in something or someone, even though there is no evidence that proves the truth of the proposition in question.
Having faith implies an attitude contrary to doubt and is closely linked to trust. In some situations, such as emotional or physical issues, having faith means having hope that something will change positively, for the better.
According to the etymology, the word faith comes from the Greek "clue" which indicates the notion of believing and in Latin "fides", which refers to an attitude of loyalty.
In the religious context, faith is a virtue of those who accept as absolute truth the principles spread by their religion. To have faith in God is to believe in his existence and in his omniscience. Faith is also synonymous with religion or worship. For example, when we talk about the Christian faith or the Islamic faith.
