Federal Revenue releases consultation on the 3rd batch of IR refunds; see if you will receive

A IRSmade available last Monday, the 24th, the consultation of the 3rd batch of restitution of the Income tax of Individuals (IRPF). Around 5.6 million taxpayers, including priority and non-priority taxpayers, will be covered in this stage, with a total amount of approximately R$ 7.5 billion to be refunded.

Majority groups and non-priority taxpayers who submitted their statements at the end of March were included. Understand the details of the contemplated below.

Consultation released

To carry out the consultation, taxpayers must access the Federal Revenue page through the government official website, released since 10 am last Monday. On the portal, just click on “My Income Tax” and then on “Consult the Refund” to check if the amounts are available.

In addition, taxpayers also have the option of carrying out a more detailed consultation of the status of their declarations, being able to verify the existence of pending issues or whether the

declarationwas retained in the fine mesh due to some irregularity. In this case, the processing extract is available through the e-CAC portal.

It is important to point out that, in case it is necessary to make corrections to the Income Tax return, taxpayers must send the rectified version as soon as possible, as refund payments are made based on the order of submission and priority of the declarants, and those who send the rectification will enter the last batch of restitution.

O paymentof refunds is scheduled for July 31, being credited to the bank account informed by the taxpayer at the time of sending the declaration. Transfer can be made directly or via Pix key, provided it is linked to the same account indicated in the document.

If there is a problem with the deposit of the refund, taxpayers can reschedule the transfer of amounts by accessing the BB Portal at the official address of the IRPF.

Additionally, it is possible to contact the Relationship Center of the Bank of Brazil by telephone [phone] for capital cities and 0800-729-0001 for other locations in the country.

As for the contributors contemplated in the 3rd lot, they belong to different groups. Seniors over 80 years old, taxpayers between 60 and 79 years old, people with physical disabilities will be assisted or mental illness, or who face a serious illness, and professionals whose main source of income is magisterium.

In addition, approximately 1.6 million non-priority taxpayers who submitted the declaration by March 23 will also be included in this batch.

According to official data, more than 3.8 million taxpayers received priority for having adopted the pre-filled declaration or opted to receive the refund through the pix.

Two other batches of restitution are foreseen, the 4th with payment on August 31st and the 5th on September 29th, contemplating taxpayers not considered priority within the Revenue system Federal.

Thus, taxpayers should be aware of the deadlines and procedures to ensure receipt of the Income Tax refund and thus avoid possible problems or delaysin payments.
