O Ministry of Education published this Monday, the 10th, the notice for the first half of the University for All Program (ProUni). Entries can be made from January 29, 2019 until 23:59 on February 1 of the same year, exclusively on the Prouni page, at the email address http://siteprouni.mec.gov.br.
Brazilian candidates who do not have a higher education degree, but who have participated in the National High School Examination (Enem) 2018, may apply.

It is also necessary that the candidate meets at least one of the following requirements: have completed high school in a public school, or in private institution as a full scholarship holder, have a disability, be a public school teacher or meet the income profile required by the program.
According to MEC's General Coordinator of Higher Education Policies, Fernando Bueno, interested parties should pay attention to the deadlines established in the announcement. “Applicants must be aware of the information that must be provided during enrollment in the program. This is a fundamental aspect to ensure participation in the process”, he stressed.
ProUni offers full and partial scholarships (50%) in undergraduate courses at private higher education institutions. The integrals are intended for students with a per capita family income of up to 1.5 minimum wages. The partial scholarships contemplated candidates who have a per capita family income of up to 3 minimum wages.
The disclosure of the result of the first call is scheduled for February 4, 2019.
