Youth Ambassadors Program opens enrollment for 2019

The Young Ambassadors Program is accepting applications for its 17th edition. In 2019, the initiative will take 50 high school students from public schools on a three-week exchange in the United States.

The Young Ambassadors Program is a social responsibility initiative of the US Embassy in Brazil, in partnership with public and private organizations, including IBM and Fedex.

Students between 15 and 18 years old who have academic excellence, knowledge of the English language and interest in volunteer work can participate. To answer questions from interested parties, the Embassy will host a Facebook Live on August 1st, starting at 4 pm.

Through the event, participants will be able to clarify points about the process and necessary documentation directly with the project coordination. Entries can be made until the 12th of August at registration link made available by the fan page on Facebook.

If the student is approved in the pre-registration, he must fill out the registration form, attach the documentation requested and select the partner institution closest to your residence and where your application will be forwarded.
