A Cargill Applications are open for the program Global Scholars, which offers scholarships to students who have good academic performance and leadership potential.
The initiative was created in 2013, and aims to train young leaders around the world in order to contribute to the advancement of business, agriculture and food security. Currently, the program serves more than 40 universities in several countries, such as Brazil, the United States, India, China, Russia and Indonesia, with a total of 131 students participating.

Selected students will participate in networking and mentoring events with company executives to develop their leadership skills. In the first year, program members participate in a seminar with activities aimed at professional training and improvement of critical thinking.
From the second year onwards, the Global Leadership Seminar is held at one of the global headquarters of the
Cargill. In this event, for a week, the best performing students from each country will participate in activities focused on practical learning, with the supervision of executives from the organization.In Brazil, this year's edition will select 10 students from the Agronomy, Technology / Engineering courses Food Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Production Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Nutrition.
Those interested in participating in the program must be studying between the second and sixth semester, have a global average above 7.5 and be proficient in the English language. Applications can be made online until May 20th.

During participation in the program, which can last for up to two years, each student receives financial support in the amount of $2,500 for expenses related to academic life.
