The State Department of Education of Maranhão (SEDUC – MA) published two new public notices nº. 018 and 019/2019 of the selection process aimed at filling 136 vacancies for teachers.

- 87 teachers to work in Basic Education, Rural Education and Quilombola School Education
- 49 teachers to work in Indigenous Schools.
- 5% of the places are reserved for people with disabilities and 20% of them for black candidates.
Vacancies
Places will be distributed among the following disciplines:
- Portuguese language;
- English language;
- Spanish language;
- History;
- Geography;
- Mathematics;
- Chemical;
- Physical;
- Biology;
- Physical education;
- Philosophy;
- Sociology;
- Art;
- Professional Education (General Agriculture, Agricultural Cultures, Animal Science, Agronomy, Creation System and Research Methodology);
- Indigenous language.
Opportunities are for regional: Bacabal, Brejo, Codó, Anajatu, Itapecurumirim, Vargem Grande, Mirinzal, Turiaçu, Alcantara, São Vicente Ferrer, Grajaú, Caxias, Estreito, Nina Rodrigues, Presidente Vargas, Açailândia, Alto Alegre do Pindaré, Monção, Bom Jesus das Selvas, Buriticupu, Barra do Corda, Fernando Falcão, Jenipapo dos Vieiras, Amarante do Maranhão, Arame, Bom Jardim and Centro Novo do Maranhão.
The salary is BRL 1,228.32.
Evidences
The SEDUC-MA selection process will consist of Curriculum Evaluation of Titles and Teaching Professional Experience.
In the event of a tie, the following tiebreakers will be used:
- Be 60 years of age or older on the last day of enrollment in this Selection Process;
- Obtain the highest number of points in the Professional Experience item;
- Greater age.
Validity of the selection process
The period of validity of the simplified selection process will be one year, from the date of its approval, extendable for an equal period, at the discretion of the administration.
Registrations
To participate in the selection processes, interested parties must fill out the registration form (available on the website www.educacao.ma.gov.br) until 23:59 on May 29, 2019. There is no charge for registration fee.
When applying, the candidate must attach the documentation requested in each notice in PDF format (front and back).
It is important to remember that the candidate who has not attached the scanned original personal documents in PDF, as well as mandatory documents of basic requirements, will be eliminated from the selection.
