The price of ethanol and gasoline
The decrease in fuel prices varies by state. The one that presented the most reduction was Goiás, with a drop of 7.69%. Thus, in the calculations, the fuel average went from R$ 4.615 to R$ 4.260 per liter, a drop of approximately R$ 0.40.
But the state that had the lowest value was Mato Grosso, with a liter of ethanol at R$ 3.63. The highest is still Acre, with the value of R$ 7.29. This small decrease in prices worries consumers, as gas stations do not always pass on the discount to customers.
Another fact is that, even with the reduction, it is still more advantageous to continue filling up with gasoline, as to reach the best value, the limit price is 70%, as ethanol is consumed faster than Gasoline.
