Can people who live alone receive the Brazil Aid?
The answer to that question is simple: yes! Those who live alone can receive help from the new Federal Government program, provided they meet the necessary requirements to access the benefit. The main requirement of the Auxílio Brasil refers to income, since the program is aimed at people in poverty and extreme poverty. Therefore, check the conditions below:
- Be enrolled in the Single Registry (CadÚnico);
- Have a per capita income (per person) equal to or less than R$ 210.00.
Also, remember that even if you are already enrolled in the CadÚnico, you must apply for the benefit. This is because the payment does not happen automatically, due to the need for approval by the Ministry of Citizenship.
How do you know if you've been accepted into Brazil Aid?
So, to find out if the benefit has been authorized, you just need to consult some official service channels, such as the Auxílio Brasil and Caixa Tem applications, available for Android and iOS systems. You can download it for free from your mobile app store.
