Christmas recipe: spicy couscous

Marília Macedo, who is in love with Christmas, has prepared, with great care, easy and tasty recipes to be used during the Christmas festivities.

We brought a series of publications with Christmas recipes in order to increase your options for starters, main courses and desserts, with more classic and less obvious preparations, thus diversifying your supper of Christmas.

In this post, we brought the spicy couscous recipe as a starter suggestion, a little out of the ordinary for most suppers.

Spicy Couscous Recipe

Ingredients:

400g of Moroccan type couscous

500ml of vegetable broth

1 red pepper

1 green pepper

1 onion

Butter

curry powder

pepperoni pepper

salt to taste

Preparation mode

Cut the peppers and onion into small cubes. Heat the vegetable broth. Place the couscous in an ovenproof dish, cover with the broth and let it hydrate for 5 minutes. Saute vegetables until golden in butter. With a fork, loosen the couscous from the ovenproof dish and mix with the sautéed vegetables. Add the salt and pepper, finally add the curry powder.
