Banana bread
Ingredients
- 8 tablespoons of butter
- 4 gems
- 1 Condensed milk (can or box) 395g
- 4 cups wheat flour (tea)
- 1 tablespoon chemical baking powder
- 5 small bananas cut into slices
- 1 cup seedless white raisins
- butter for greasing
- wheat flour for sprinkling
Method of preparation
In a mixer, add the butter, yolks and condensed milk and beat until you form a cream, after that, turn off the mixer and let the dough rest for 5 minutes.
Then, mix the wheat flour with the chemical baking powder and sift it, add this mixture to the dough beaten in the mixer, also add the bananas, the raisins and mix.
Preheat the oven to 180ºC, separate a mold and grease it with butter and sprinkle with flour, then place the dough and bake for 40 minutes.
Check with the help of a toothpick if the dough is completely baked, if the toothpick comes out dirty the dough is still raw.
So, after baking, wait for it to cool down to unmold the bread and cut it into squares, and that's it!
Finally, banana bread can be served for breakfast accompanied by yogurt or it can be served on other occasions as well as afternoon tea.
